Brandon Jennings apparently tweeted:

"I might retire after next year."

Jennings deleted the tweet.

With nearly complete certainty, he was either clowning or someone got a hold of his Twitter account.

Jennings is on track with his injury recovery, so it seems unlikely that would cause him to retire. Otherwise, it’s difficult to see an impetus. Jennings has a reputation for absolutely loving to play basketball.

Sometimes, NBA players talk about retiring young and forgoing millions in future earnings. They never actually do.

Considering Jennings deleted the tweet, I’m not even convinced he’s even talking about it – let alone would ever follow through.

Don’t give this a second thought unless there becomes a reason to give this a second thought.
