Myles Turner has the ability to space the floor while also defending the paint with his shot-blocking. His play during the Summer League was dominant, he averaged 18 Points, 8 Rebounds and 4.3 Blocks. Although he statistically came back down to earth during the Pre Season he still managed to average two blocks a game in only sixteen minutes.
With the departures of Roy Hibbert and David West, he will be competing with veterans like Jordan Hill and Ian Mahinmi for the starting position at centre though he should still receive significant minutes even if he misses out on the starting job early on.
He may just fall outside the top two or three players vying for Rookie of the Year but I believe he will certainly be in the equation as the season progresses. Has been one of the best rookies leading into opening night.
Next: D'Angelo Russell
