team. 147. It’s one thing to be bad in the NBA, it’s another thing entirely to be bad and boring. The Brooklyn Nets play the second slowest pace in the league with 95.85 possessions per game, just ahead of the plodding Utah Jazz, and they are being outscored by 17.1 points every 100 possessions. The most exciting thing out of Brooklyn so far this season might just be Brooks Lopez’s Star Wars-themed bobble head. <p> </p> <div class=. 0-4. Previous: . Brooklyn Nets. 30

Even if the Pistons’ season goes south this year, you guys will be able to console yourselves with the fact that at least you’re not Nets’ fans.

Philadelphia 76ers. 29. team. 93. The seemingly perpetually “in process” Philadelphia 76ers come in a place other than last in these rankings thanks to promising rookie Jahlil Okafor. This past NBA draft’s third overall pick <a href=. 0-3. Previous:

28. team. 20. The Los Angeles Lakers are a dumpster fire right now. Kobe Bryant considers himself to be the <a href=. 0-4. Previous: . Los Angeles Lakers

1-3. Previous: . Charlotte Hornets. 27. team. 170. The Charlotte Hornets were expected to challenge for a playoff spot, but a major shoulder separation injury for young small forward Michael Kidd-Gilchrist derailed those hopes. MKG will be out for six months, which would bring him back right around the playoffs if he was able to return on time. With Kidd-Gilchrist essentially out for the season, this is now Kemba Walker and Al Jefferson’s team, and unfortunately that simply doesn’t add up to a playoff run. On the plus side, the Hornets have locked up Jeremy Lamb <a href=

69. The New Orleans Pelicans are a bit of a wreck right now. To be fair, it doesn’t help that they’ve played two of their first three games against the Golden State Warriors, both of which went exactly how you might think, and their injury report is truly staggering. They are currently without Omer Asik, Luke Babbitt, Norris Cole, Tyreke Evans, Kendrick Perkins, Quincy Pondexter, and Jrue Holiday is on a minutes limit. That means the bulk of the point guard minutes go to Ish Smith and Toney Douglas. Smith was signed just before the start of the regular season and Douglas has only been with the team for a couple of days as of this writing. Due to a lack of NBA-level players and point guards who are familiar with head coach Alvin Gentry’s system, super-human big man Anthony Davis has been <a href=. 0-4. Previous: .
