The Detroit Pistons have traded Marcus Morris for Avery Bradley. They also have the right to match all offers for Kentavious Caldwell-Pope. Are there more moves to come?

The Detroit Pistons trading for Avery Bradley was a shocker. It also left me wondering if more moves are coming for the team given the status of Kentavious Caldwell-Pope and the Pistons ability to retain his, disregarding the cap space issues which can be a lesser issue if more moves are to come.

This is a thought shared by others, as we all find ourselves scratching our heads wondering what’s next.

So there are definitely more moves coming due to the cap space restraints, the question is, what is Stan Van Gundy and Jeff Bower’s end game?

Personally, I’d like the Pistons to not let assets walk out the door for nothing. I would like to see the Pistons move Jone Leuer to clear more cap space, and then re-sign Kentavious Caldwell-Pope.

Clearly Bradley and Caldwell-Pope would be a questionable fit on the court, but it’s better to have assets and ill-fitting talent that you could then ship out for other assets and better-fitting talent, than it is to let assets walk out the door.
