Not long after we got an early look at NBA 2K18’s player ratings for the Detroit Pistons and others in a YouTube leak, a major alternate jersey leak has come out.

The team at 2K Sports has done a great job of keeping the buzz going for the upcoming NBA 2K18, releasing ratings for players who request them and top 10’s at each position (including a couple of Detroit Pistons players among those ranks) as we near the September 15th release.

Less than two weeks ago, a YouTube user discovered and leaked player ratings for every player on every team in the game. That killed some of the secret and the drama surrounding 2K’s ultimate release of those ratings vanished.

There’s been another leak since then, thanks to a Twitter user with the handle @JMoneyMikita. Based out of Australia, he got his hands on an early release on NBA 2K18 and discovered alternate jerseys for all 30 teams.

According to signage in the game, these jerseys are called “Statement” jerseys and appear to be third uniforms. In a puzzling twist, as friend of the site Conrad Burry notes, the game appears to be in French.

Check out the Pistons’ Statement jersey below:

This jersey features both the Nike logo and the new Flagstar Bank sponsorship patch. It has more color than the Chrome jerseys, and I find the looks of these more appealing than the Chromes as well. They’re no Motor City sleeved jerseys, though, and they don’t hold a candle to the red alternates of the Going To Work Pistons.
