The Detroit Pistons wrap up the preseason on the road against the Milwaukee Bucks on Friday. They’ll look to take a winning record into the regular season.

The Detroit Pistons take a 2-2 record into their preseason finale against the Milwaukee Bucks Friday night. The Pistons have alternated wins and losses through the first four games.

Stanley Johnson will get the night off and Avery Bradley is questionable with a nagging ankle injury, per Keith Langlois:

Johnson had been the only projected starter to appear in every game to this point, which means we still haven’t seen the likely starting lineup of Reggie Jackson, Bradley, Johnson, Tobias Harris and Andre Drummond on the floor together so far this preseason.

Stanley Johnson had an impressive preseason, possibly assuaging some fundamental concerns about his abilities on the floor. He averaged 27 minutes per game and scored just 8.8 points per game on 41.9 percent shooting, but he hit 43.8 percent from three-point range. It’s the preseason and we’re dealing with tiny samples, but it’s enough to give some hope.

Leuer will get the start at the four while Harris will shift to the three. Leuer has also played well in the preseason, averaging 20 minutes per game in his three appearances. He’s shooting 61.1 percent from the floor, averaging 8 points and 6.3 rebounds per game while splitting his time between the four and five spots.

The combination of Leuer and Harris was one of the few forward combos that had a positive net rating for the Detroit Pistons last year, outscoring their opponents by 0.9 points per 100 possessions.

As for Piston guards, if Bradley can’t go, expect Luke Kennard to get his third start of the preseason. He’s played 24 minutes per game, averaging 6.8 points per game on 42.9 percent shooting, while hitting just 28.6 from long range.
