This is it. One last game to decide who faces Cleveland in the NBA finals. Houston hosts Golden State in game seven of the Western Conference finals.
What’s better than game seven? We got a really good game last night in game seven between the Boston Celtics and the Cleveland Cavaliers. Houston and Golden State should be a thriller tonight as well.
Game six recap
It was really a tale of two halves in game six at Oracle arena. The Rockets had a ten point lead going into halftime. In the second half, the Warriors outscored the Rockets 66-25 on their to a 115-86 blowout win in game six.
Stephen Curry had 29 points and Klay Thompson had 35 points. These two were the biggest difference in the game. James Harden added 32 points for the Rockets.
Game seven match-up
There’s one big question that continues to loom over this game seven match-up: What is the status of Chris Paul?
D'Antoni said he does not think Paul has tested the hamstring at all. Just treatment. Doctors will determine his status. "I think it's a game-time decision."

He’s been the catalyst for the Rockets through the Western Conference finals. Paul has averaged 21 points, five rebounds, and five assists per game.
The Rockets will surely miss his production if he’s not able to play in game seven. That just means James Harden will have to heighten his game to a level he’s never reached especially on a stage like this.
The Warriors have been in this scenario. They’ve won two out of the last three NBA championships so this kind of stage isn’t something they aren’t familiar with.
Their big three will have to show up if they want to go into Houston and win the conference title for a fourth consecutive season.
The prediction
How can you pick against Golden State? It’s easier to go with the Warriors if Chris Paul is ruled out for tonight’s game.
Paul is one of Houston’s best on-ball defenders. It’s no coincidence that Curry and Thompson both had a huge game in Paul’s absence.
It really comes down to who’s been in this position before. Look at game seven between Boston and Cleveland. Houston is similar to Boston in terms of experience in big games like this one.
Golden State heads back to their fourth straight NBA finals. Who are you going with?
Head to the comments section with who you think will win tonight’s game!
