7. Drummond yams on Montrezl Harrell

January 12th, 2019

Final Score: Pistons 109, Clippers 104

Drummond is a true high flyer, and not many people like to challenge him at the rim on either end of the floor, but when they do, trust they immediately regret it after like Montrezl Harrell in this clip coming in at No. 7 on our list.

Drummond is a big body, sets good screens, and rolls to perfection most of the time. Countless times this year he’s connected on the receiving end of an alley-oop. Drummond was ninth in the league in total dunks this year (157) and was a former slam dunk contestant in 2016.

Needless to say the man can fly, during this play we see Harrell who just like Drummond isn’t too afraid of anyone, and respect to Harrell for challenging it just wasn’t enough to stop the Pistons hunk of a man Andre Drummond from putting him on his backside.

This early January game was nothing but a show. Griffin returned to play against the team that selected him firstst overall in 2009. The fourth quarter was full of heroics and big shots on both sides, Lou Williams raining three’s, Blake Griffin dominating in the post and the perimeter it was a fun game to watch.

The Pistons ended up pulling it out, with a narrow victory, but there was a small scuffle at the end between Patrick Beverley of the Clippers and Griffin, who were former teammates in LA.
