Reggie Jackson

The nine-year veteran was born Pordenone, Italy. However he pays tribute to Colorado Springs as his hometown. Reggie Jackson Played High School basketball for William J Palmer High School.

He was ranked 94th in ESPN Top100 players in the 2008 class. He played college ball for Boston College, the former Eagle was heavily recruited by Nevada, Marquette, Texas A&M and Wyoming.

Jackson was later selected 24th overall in the 2011 NBA Draft by the Oklahoma City Thunder. Jackson was traded to Detroit back in 2014-15 NBA season. The only two teams he has ever played for in the NBA.  He has now played five season with the Detroit Pistons.

Under the old regime in Stan Van Gundy, Jackson was brought in to be the “guy” for the Detroit Pistons. In their second year together it worked, a 44-38 record as the eight-seed in the playoffs, things were trending up. However, given all of Jackson’s nagging injuries things just never became the same for him, unto this past season .

Jackson is a combo guard who excels by penetrating into defensive lanes and the paint area to score. He is coming off his first healthy season with Detroit in two years, and he averaged 15 points and four assists per game. He shot a career-high 36 percent beyond the arc this past season. Jackson will looked to build on what what was a quietly good year for him.
