Andre Drummond
Drummond was the second best player in his 2011 high basketball recruiting class. Just ahead of him was Anthony Davis . Born in Mount Vernon, New York, Drummond played college basketball for University of Connecticut.
Drummond averaged 10 points, seven rebounds, and three blocks a game as freshman in his only season with the Huskies. The Big East name Drummond to the 2011-12 Big East All-Freshman team.
Drummond was viewed as a potential number one overall pick in the 2012 NBA Draft. However, after question about his work ethic, and game shape, teams quietly passed on him. He was drafted by Detroit Pistons with ninth pick in the 2012 NBA Draft.
Drummond is a walking double-double big man in the game. He is highly regarded as a top 10 center in the league and a case could be made for top 5. Drummond averaged a career high in points this past season at 17 points per game and steals at 1.7 per game.
Drummond bests game was Dec. 18, 2015 against the Chicago Bulls. His scored 33 points, grabbed 21 rebounds, swatted two shots and had two steals. He was the first Pistons player to have a 30-20 stat line since Dennis Rodman.
