Blake Griffin
Griffin is from Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and played high school ball for Oklahoma Christian School. He was ranked 18th by ESPN Top 100. Griffin was highly recruited by Michigan State, Baylor, Kansas, Oklahoma State and Oklahoma. Griffin chose to stay home and play for University of Oklahoma.

The highlight reel big man loved to show off his athleticism and set his eyes on joining the competition in the 2011 NBA Slam Dunk Contest. Griffin won the Slam Dunk competition that year in exciting fashion by jumping over a car. That same season Griffin took home the 2010-11 NBA Rookie of the Year Award, averaging 22 points and 12 rebounds per game.
Griffin was drafted by the Los Angeles Clippers with 1st overall pick in the 2009 NBA Draft. Having played seven seasons with the Clippers he averaged 21 points, nine rebounds, and four assists a game. In the 2017-18 season Griffin was traded to the Detroit Pistons that highlighted Tobias Harris, Avery Bradley and a first round pick in the deal.
Griffin is coming off the best season of his career with the Pistons, averaging 24 points , five assists and seven rebounds per game. This season was his first time making the Eastern Conference All-Star team. He made the All-Star team five times in the Western conference.
As the sole leader and franchise cornerstone, the Pistons will run their entire offense through him. Maximizing the Blake Griffin era is in full effect.
