Ranking Andre Drummond’s 10 best games of career

7. Feb. 11, 2019 – Win vs. Washington
The line: 12/19, 32 points, 17 rebounds, 4 steals, 8/10 FT, 31.9 Game Score
After a win here, Detroit made it four straight wins and Drummond continued an incredible start to February. In the five games played in February including Washington, Drummond was averaging 23.4 points and 15.2 rebounds per game on 70.6 field goal percent and 72.4 free throw percent. A few of those games were against the Knicks as well, but his Dec. 14 game against Denver proved he wasn’t just up against bad opponents.
It’d be hard to argue that this stretch of games was Drummond’s best as a pro.
In the game against Washington, Drummond led or tied for the lead in scoring in the first and third quarters. Detroit led for most of this game, although Washington would hang tough and take a brief 69-68 lead in the third quarter.
But after a few baskets from Jackson, Drummond, and Thon Maker that lead quickly deteriorated and the Pistons didn’t look back the rest of the game, keeping at least a 10-point cushion the rest of the way out.
Of course, it helps to have another lead scorer like Blake Griffin to take the load off and that meant a lot of easy looks for Drummond and Jackson. Griffin took 23 shots to Drummond’s 17 and while Jackson only took eight shots, he made all four of his 3-pointers. Drummond also had one of his best free throw shooting games going 8-for-10.
