Okay, fine. Here’s some proof – not because it’s necessary to justify Magic’s place on this list, but because his stats are really fun to list out in one place.

He was the face (and smile) of the Showtime Lakers, which featured other players such as Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and James Worthy.
Magic is the only player out of former Michigan State players inducted into the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame.
He’s a 12-time NBA All-Star, five-time NBA champion, three-time Finals MVP, three-time regular season MVP, 10-time All-NBA, rookie-of-the-year in 1979-80 and the list goes on.
He is fifth All-Time in career assists (10,141), many of which were made without looking, and 21st in steals (1,724).
