Power forwards

Play Sabonis at your own risk. As a big fan of his game, his price range is too much with a high risk of blowout factor. He’s $6,900 on DraftKings (value at 34.5 DKFP) and $7,100 on FanDuel (value at 35.5 FDFP). He posted a pair of double-doubles in April against the Pistons to close last season and was 15-for-22 shooting while doing so.

The difference now is that the Pacers have more weapons, even in Oladipo’s absence, with the additions of Brogdon, Lamb and Warren. Plus there’s the fact that Sabonis and Turner are still going to learn to play alongside each other.

He’s probably a good cash game option but his ceiling limits his upside in GPP’s.

Values

With Griffin out and Morris questionable, there’s likely plenty of value in the Pistons frontcourt.

light. season preview. 3 goals for Christian Wood in 2019-20

Christian Wood is $4,800 on DraftKings (value at 24 DKFP) and $3,900 on FanDuel (value at 19.5 FDFP). He’s blowout proof, too, given he’s still looking to solidify a rotational spot. But with Griffin out, it should be expected he gets the call over Thon Maker ($3,800 on DraftKings at PF) after outperforming the former 10th overall pick in preseason.

Markieff Morris is $3,600 on DraftKings (value at 18 DKFP) and $4,300 on FanDuel (value at 21.5 FDFP). He’s likely to get the start in place of Griffin and will bring his aggression to crashing the glass. His final preseason game proved why his signing is valuable as a scoring option, too.

It doesn’t seem like the Pacers have a lot of great value plays with plenty of depth in their frontcourt.
