Detroit Pistons player grades in 119-110 win over Indiana Pacers
Centers
Andre Drummond: A+
I will raise my hand and say that I was very against us paying Andre Drummond the crazy salary that he will command this offseason, but I changed my mind last night

His dominance on both ends of the floor can’t be understated as he put up the mammoth stat line of 32 points, 23 rebounds, and two assists. Another huge stat for Andre was shooting 80% from the free-throw line making is last eight attempts after two bad misses.
Not only was Drummond doing his normal layups and put backs, but he had a few drives where he attacked the rim and finished over Sabonis and Turner, making me and the bench stand up and scream “And One!” as the Pistons were rolling.
If Drummond keeps this up, I will personally give him the pen to extend his stay in the Motor City. After a large double-double streak last season, maybe he started a 20-20 streak that could continue tonight against the Hawks.
Christian Wood: C-
After all the hype going into the season from Christian Wood’s pre-season performances, we really expected to see a lot more from Wood. In his 4 minutes, Wood recorded a turnover and a -1 plus/minus, making no impact and barely deserving a grade.
Maybe to the surprise of many, the Pistons were impressive in a road win against a Central Division foe. But the report card resets with a new opponent in the Atlanta Hawks on Thursday.
