The Detroit Pistons are trending towards a top-5 2020 NBA Draft pick. Here are three college games fans should watch with top prospects playing.

The Detroit Pistons are trending towards a top-5 pick in the 2020 NBA Draft, and that makes watching college basketball more exciting outside of whoever their favorite team is.

The Pistons (20-41) just snapped a seven-game losing streak with their first win since trading away Andre Drummond at the trade deadline. It’s also their first win since they bought out Reggie Jackson — who went to the Los Angeles Clippers — and Markieff Morris, who went to the Los Angeles Lakers.

It’s given the younger players on the roster a great opportunity to show what they could bring in the future. The Pistons have some valuable young assets in Luke Kennard, Sekou Doumbouya and Bruce Brown. Veterans such as Derrick Rose and Tony Snell, who are both under contract next season, are there to help teach and lead a young team forward.

But with roughly $35 million in salary cap space, the Pistons roster will likely look completely different when the 2020-21 season tips off. That includes adding a top prospect from the 2020 NBA Draft, which could come from one of the following college games being played.

Us Pistons fans are stuck rooting for other teams, and hoping we lose to improve our draft odds. This is a lot harder to do than I imagined. Something I’ve started to do to fill my desire for quality basketball while having it relate to the Pistons is to watch some good college games. In these three games, there are potential pro prospects that range from the potential first overall pick to Summer League players.

Here are the top three games that you should watch from Saturday to Monday.
