Detroit Pistons: Isaiah Stewart IS Beef Stew

First off, I love Greg Kelser and George Blaha but can we stop with this “I-Stew” nonsense? Isaiah Stewart is not an Apple product, he is absolutely 100 percent BEEF STEW.

Stewart had his best game as a pro last night starting in place of the injured Mason Plumlee. Stewart put up a stat line like one of Plumlee’s though, scoring 16 points while adding 13 rebounds and a four assists.

Stewart has shown elements to his game that most people did not think he would have this soon, particularly his outside shooting and playmaking which are much better than advertised.

Beef Stew is now leading all rookies in rebounds, blocked shots, field goal percentage, not to mention all types of hustle stats. Cory Joseph called him “Baby Ben Wallace” after last night’s performance and he’s not wrong, as Stewart embodies everything Pistons’ fans love about our team.

Saddiq Bey is making history from the 3-point line while Stewart is trying to bring hard-nosed, defensive basketball back to the city of Detroit.

I can’t overstate how excited I am about this team and can’t wait to see what these two and Hayes  will be like next season with a full offseason of work under their belts.
