Detroit Pistons: Killian Hayes will be an elite passer

One thing that is for certain: Killian Hayes can pass.

He’s one of those guys who just has a little extra zip on his passes which allows him to drop dimes that not many people in the NBA are capable of.

Hayes ended with six assists in 25 minutes but once again it could have been more which is one of the reasons the Pistons need to find some shooters.

But it’s not just the numbers, the eye test for Hayes’ passing is much more impressive.

Hayes is finding cutting teammates and hitting them in stride, as he does here with this beautiful one-handed laser to Isaiah Stewart.

He is also getting it done on the defense end, flashing smothering perimeter defense at times:

Here he is jumping the passing lane for the steal and breakaway on the other end.

Killian Hayes passing and defense have given Pistons’ fans reasons to be excited.

Now if we can just get some more run for him and his rookie teammate.
