Detroit Pistons Big Board 1.0: Prospects 26-25

Guard. Gonzaga. Joel Ayayi. 26. player. 64. Pick Analysis. Scouting Report

Gonzaga is going to be heavily featured on this list, as they have several guys who look ready to contribute. While Jalen Suggs got all the attention, teammate Joel Ayayi was part of the glue that made the team work.

He is a combo guard who can do a little bit of everything, similar to Frank Jackson. He has good size and though his numbers won’t jump out at you, he is solid in all areas and is one of those guys who always seems to make the right play.

25. player. 64. Scouting Report. Small Forward. Pick Analysis. Stanford. Ziaire Williams

Williams is one of those guys who didn’t really play all that well in his freshman season but has tools that are going to make scouts drool.

He doesn’t currently have an NBA-ready skill but he has great size for a small forward at 6-foot-8 and projects as as guy who will eventually be a very good defender with a long wingspan who can also knock down shots.

We know the Pistons like that combination but Williams is definitely a project and could spend a year or two in the G-League.
