The Lakers would be pretty happy if this happened and would be their reward for losing a bunch of games when LeBron James was hurt.
This a a pick they could definitely trade, especially if they can use it to get another veteran who can help them win now. The Lakers aren’t interested in developing talent but if Springer were here, they would consider it, as he does a lot of the things they need out of a guard.
Springer is a good defender and can shoot the 3-ball, which are pretty much the two requirements you need to meet to be a teammate of LeBron.
He would give them a replacement for Schroder if he leaves and might even make KCP expendable.
