Detroit Pistons: Mock Draft 3.0 pick No. 5

Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. G-league / Cleveland Cavaliers. 5. player. 156. Small Forward. Jonathan Kuminga

The Cavaliers are another team that needs another big upgrade in talent and would be absolutely ecstatic if they could land Kuminga with the 5th pick.

The Cavs have a good backcourt and some talented bigs but are thin on the wing, so Kuminga would slot right into their rotation.

With Sexton, Garland and Okoro already on board, adding a wing like Kuminga would give the Cavaliers a really nice core, especially if they are able to retain Jarrett Allen and finally find a trade partner for Kevin Love.

The Cavaliers, like the Detroit Pistons, are not far from being good and there is finally hope on the horizon, though many of their fans would disagree.

The top-five of this draft is considered a tier above the rest, so predicting picks 6-30 is tricky business.
