What NBA player does Chaundee Brown’s game most resemble?

Chaundee Brown’s game right now reminds me most of Milwaukee Bucks wing Pat Connaughton.

Primarily a floor spacer, who also is a great finisher, Connaughton has carved out a role with the Bucks as a shooter who is constantly working to improve his 3-point form and volume.

Brown can be similar while also being a much better defender than Connaughton (although he has improved in that respect too).

And for those of y’all out there ready to diss on Pat Connaughton, or say “I don’t want my team drafting Pat Connaughton” I suggest you google the man’s name.

He’s been in a rotation on a winning team the past four years playing AT LEAST 18.1 minutes per game, his true shooting percentage has not dipped below 56.5% the past 3 years as he’s settled into his role in Milwaukee, and he continues to do a lot of selfless things on the court that benefit his teammates.

He did just drop 15 on the Heat the other night too so he’s starting to find his way in the playoffs as well.

Brown is definitely not the vertically explosive athlete Connaughton is, but again, he is like Connaughton in that he does not waste his two-point shots. Connaughton only posted one season where his two-point percentage dipped below 51.3%,  and that was his rookie year where he only played 4.2 minutes per game in 34 games.

I see Brown inhabiting this same role as Connaughton. A wing 3-and-D guy that spaces the floor for your starters, while also not wasting a single shot.

I do think Brown’s defense is much better than Connaughton’s, though, as Pat is just now becoming an average defender.
