Detroit Pistons: NBA Mock Draft 4.0 pick No. 3

Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. Point guard. 3. player. Gonzaga / Minnesota Timberwolves. Jalen Suggs. 86

The Timberwolves jumped up three spots in this NBA Mock Draft, which seems fair considering they didn’t tank down the stretch.

Minnesota has to give their pick to the Warriors if it falls out of the top-3, so this is pretty much the best-case scenario for them.

The Timberwolves already have some good scorers in Anthony Edwards, Karl-Anthony Towns and D’Angelo Russell, so Suggs would be the perfect addition as an unselfish and versatile playmaker/

This would give the Timberwolves a solid “core four” players to build around and could propel them out of the cellar as soon as next season.

But we’ve said this before with the Timberwolves, so I wouldn’t be shocked if they stunk even if this happens.
