Pistons: 1 NBA Draft trade with every team in the Northwest Division
Detroit Pistons: NBA Draft trade with the Utah Jazz
The Jazz had the best record in the league and won’t have a lot of wiggle room to make additional moves unless they are able to move a contract or two.
I don’t see a lot of potential when it comes to players unless the Pistons had some interest in Joe Ingles, but I am not sure they have what it takes to get him. So this trade just involves picks, allowing the Pistons to move into the first round while the Jazz stay off a 1st-round rookie contract and pick up an extra pick.
The Pistons would only do this trade if there was a player that they liked at 30 who they didn’t think would still be there seven picks later.
They’d only be giving up another second-round pick to move up anyway, so it is not a steep price either way and there might still be some very good players available in that range.
The Detroit Pistons have a lot of options for trades this offseason and we’ll be looking at every division, so check back regularly this week to see the rest.
