Detroit Pistons: Trading the #1 pick in the NBA Draft to the Toronto Raptors

You’ve decided to try and deal with the Raptors, who are at a bit of a crossroads as a team. They have to make a decision on franchise icon Kyle Lowry, who may decide to chase rings elsewhere.

They are building around Pascal Siakam, Fred VanVleet and OG Anunoby and would love to add Cade Cunningham to that group. So what would they be willing to give up?

In this trade, you are giving up the top pick for the 4th overall pick, a very good young wing in Anunoby and a future first rounder.

Is this enough to get you to move off Cunningham? The Raptors aren’t going to overpay too much, as they probably like their young core and feel they can adequately supplement it with their 4th pick if their power move doesn’t work out.
