Detroit Pistons: Drafting Jalen Suggs with the #4 pick in the NBA Draft

You have traded back three spots but were still able to get one of the top picks in the NBA Draft  in Jalen Suggs.

You have also added Anunoby to the rotation, so you have a lot of dynamic, versatile defenders and lineup combinations. This might force you to move Hayes to the bench in order to get minutes for Bey and Anunoby together.

  • PG- Jalen Suggs/Killian Hayes/Saben Lee
  • SG- Saddiq Bey/Hamidou Diallo/Frank Jackson
  • SF- OG Anunoby/ Josh Jackson
  • PF- Jerami Grant/Sekou Doumbouya
  • C-Isaiah Stewart/Mason Plumlee

You’ve decided to lean into wings who can defend and now you have a lot of them. This team would be crazy big, and versatile defensively though you may have some problem staying in front of quicker shooting guards.

Suggs is your point guard and you are going with big wings all around him, which isn’t a bad strategy considering his ability to make plays.

This team has the potential to be a top-5 defensive team but might struggle to score and lacks outside shooting, big time.

It’s a bold strategy in a league leaning towards offense but it’s your team, so good luck!
