Detroit Pistons: Drafting Jonathan Kuminga and James Bouknight with the #5 and #8 picks in the NBA Draft
You’ve gotten two very good players in the NBA Draft, as Kuminga is a guy who many think could be the best wing and Bouknight has a chance to be the best pure scorer.
You really only do this if you don’t like anyone in the top four, which makes you an outlier, but who knows, maybe you are smarter than everyone else.
- PG- Killian Hayes/Saben Lee
- SG- James Bouknight/Hamidou Diallo/Frank Jackson
- SF- Saddiq Bey/Jonathan Kuminga/Josh Jackson
- PF- Jerami Grant/Jonathan Isaac/Sekou Doumbouya
- C-Isaiah Stewart/Mason Plumlee
I have to say, you’ve built a very deep roster here though it is still lacking in high-end talent. You’ve essentially got two teams worth of guys here and must think that quantity will overcome your lack of star power.
You have a good balance of offense and defense though this team lacks shooting. You are building around defense and rim protection but will probably have to make a trade to get rid of one or more of your guards, as you have too many guys and not enough minutes.
You are now the most hated GM In Detroit Pistons’ history, you’ve built a deep team full of role players, something we’ve seen for more than a decade in Detroit. You should start cleaning out your desk now.
