Detroit Pistons: Drafting Scottie Barnes and Alperen Şengün with the #5 and #8 picks in the NBA Draft

You are really thinking outside of the box here and must believe that versatile forwards are the future of the league because you have a lot of them now.

Barnes is one of the best defenders in this draft, a playmaking forward with a massive wingspan who is always getting compared to Draymond Green. Sengun is one of the great mysteries of the draft, a center who can shoot and make plays.

  • PG- Killian Hayes/Saben Lee
  • SG- Saddiq Bey/Hamidou Diallo/Frank Jackson
  • SF- Scottie Barnes/Josh Jackson
  • PF- Jerami Grant/Jonathan Isaac/Sekou Doumbouya
  • C-Isaiah Stewart/Mason Plumlee/Alperen Şengün

You have a very deep team but is it ready to win now? Sengun is definitely a long-term prospect and may have to spend another year overseas before he is ready even though he does have plus skills for a big man.

You have built a weird team that is very versatile and has guys who can make plays all over the floor. You don’t have nearly enough shooting and are definitely going to have to trade to get some.

You will probably move Plumlee and Josh Jackson at this point, which might get you another player, hopefully one who can score.

This team would get you run out of Detroit, so you had better hope it works out or you just lost your GM job.
