Detroit Pistons: Trading the #1 pick to the Golden State Warriors

You’ve decided to trade the number one pick in the NBA Draft to the Golden State Warriors, which means you are either a Warriors’ fan or need to have your head checked.

They are only a few years removed from a dynasty and you are trying to help them build another one for some reason. Golden State had better come with a massive offer or you might be fired before the ink dries on this deal.

Ok, you have just traded the number one pick for two picks in the lottery, plus James Wiseman, plus two future first round picks.

We know those future picks are likely to be garbage, so you’ve staked your career on Wiseman and whoever you can grab with the two lottery picks.

You must really like Wiseman, as this is a risky move to say the least.
