Detroit Pistons: You’ve traded for the #2 pick in the NBA Draft

You’ve just made a bold move and traded the number one pick in the NBA Draft to move down to number two and grab some additional assets.

In Tate you’ve gotten a hard-nosed player who definitely fits the Pistons’ culture, as he can defend multiple positions and is a hard worker.

But he is also 25-years-old, so you are not getting at typical rookie. You’ve also picked up the number two pick in the draft, the number 23 pick and a future first rounder.

I have to be honest, you probably should have held out for more, as the Rockets would almost certainly give up another future first round pick.
