The Detroit Pistons are just over a week away from their most important NBA Draft in years and there are still some key questions lingering.

The Pistons are finally starting to turn things around after drafting two All-Rookie players in Saddiq Bey and Isaiah Stewart and adding quality veteran Jerami Grant, who thinks the Pistons are ready to “do something big.”

With the right draft pick, the Pistons could even be propelled into the playoffs, but even if they came up short of that goal next season, progress is being made and fans are excited for the future.

This particular NBA Draft has had about as much intrigue as any other, as fans and media argue about who should be taken first and which players will have the biggest impact.

The Detroit Pistons have several questions hanging over them heading into this NBA Draft, and we will try to answer them.

Question 1: Will the Detroit Pistons trade the #1 pick in the NBA Draft?

This seems like the biggest question the Pistons have to answer but also the easiest one, as they will almost certainly draft Cade Cunningham with the number one pick.

Rumors have been flying that Houston and Cleveland are trying to trade for the pick, but it’s extremely unlikely that they would have an offer that would move the Detroit Pistons.

Cade Cunningham is going to be the number one pick and he is going to the Detroit Pistons. Of the four questions we have, this one is the clearest.

It didn’t hurt that Cunningham was spotted in Detroit a few days ago for his workout and went to a Tigers’ game with Saddiq Bey.

If you are worried about the Pistons trading this pick, you can relax. Troy Weaver is doing his homework but in the end, Cade Cunningham is coming to Detroit.
