The Knicks are at a crossroads, as they have seven potential free agents, and could have a much different and younger team next season.
Tom Thibodeau would probably like to run it back with his old veteran team from this season, but to be honest, that isn’t going to work and the Knicks are closer to needing to rebuild than they are winning a title.
Springer is a good defender and a versatile guard who would fit nicely with Quickley and Barrett and Thibodeau would love his motor.
I think the Knicks will be the team most likely to fall out of the playoffs next season unless they make some big moves, which is possible. They could even try to trade this pick to a team like the Detroit Pistons.
