Detroit Pistons: Cade Cunningham and Saddiq Bey were the only bright spots vs. Kings

The Detroit Pistons’ bench was bad, but so were most of the starters, as Jerami Grant, Isaiah Stewart and Killian Hayes were a combined 7-of-26 from the floor for 15 points.

The only Pistons who even cracked double-digits were Cade Cunningham and Saddiq Bey, who had their best games of the season in the ugly loss.

Cunningham had 25 points, eight rebounds and eight assists while swiping two steals. His shooting has really come around since his 1-for-21 start from 3-point range. Since his atrocious start Cunningham has shot 15/37 from three for 40.5 percent, which leads all rookies in that stretch.

Saddiq Bey has had his struggles this season as well, so it was good to see him have another strong game. He ended with 28 points, but most importantly hit 4-of-9 from long range. He has struggled from the 3-point line this season, so it was nice to see him hit a few even in the blowout.

I am certain that neither of these two players care about these stats in a loss like this, but for my own mental health I need some kind of positives, as the rest of the numbers were just brutal.
