The Detroit Pistons finally got back to full strength in their last game against the Pelicans but it didn’t last.

Cade Cunningham had to leave the game in the third quarter with a hip pointer and he is still listed as questionable for tonight’s game vs. Minnesota on the Pistons’ injury report.

Cunningham was recently put atop the Rookie Ladder and has been playing some of his best basketball of the season, so it will be disappointing for him and fans if he has to miss any time.

The Pistons couldn’t score without Cunningham even though they got both Jerami Grant and Kelly Olynyk back from injury, showing just how important Cade is to the Pistons.

Without him, Detroit stands little chance of beating Minnesota, who have won two in a row to move into the 7th spot in the Western Conference behind sophomore sensation Anthony Edwards.

Let’s hope the Pistons get some good news ahead of this upcoming back-to-back, and that Cunningham can continue his quest for the Rookie of the Year.

Detroit Pistons vs. Minnesota Timberwolves: Odds, spread, over/under and best bets

According to WynnBET, the Pistons are seven point underdogs at home against the Timberwolves.

I think this is a pretty good indication of what the books think about Cunningham’s injury, as I doubt the spread would be this high if he were 100 percent healthy and guaranteed to play.

The money lines are set at +230 for the Pistons and -290 for Minnesota, so you can get pretty god odds of a Detroit victory if you are willing to gamble on Cade being in the game.

The over/under is set at 226, which seems really high for any Pistons’ game, even agains the Timberwolves, who are high-scoring and don’t play much defense.

We saw what the Detroit offense looked like without Cade last game, and I wouldn’t expect much scoring if he is out, so the under looks like a solid bet if he is.

The Pistons don’t really have any solid top-end fantasy plays without Cade Cunningham, but they do have some low-cost guys who have been putting up numbers.

Both Trey Lyles and Cory Joseph have been good of late and come cheap in daily fantasy, as does Hamidou Diallo, who is coming off a nice game against the Pelicans and may be back in the starting lineup if Cade is out.
