The Boston Celtics have won nine of their last ten games, with the lone loss a one point defeat to the Detroit Pistons.

The Pistons are trying to finish the season strong, hopefully piling up some wins to carry momentum into the offseason, which will be one of the most important in recent history.

They’ve won two-in-a-row including their pre All-Star break victory over the Celtics, which came on a late hoop by Jerami Grant and a clutch block by Cade Cunningham.

Cade Cunningham also had 20 points, eight rebounds and six assists the last time these two teams played, so he’d love to have another big game in his quest to win Rookie of the Year.

Detroit is coming off a win over the Cleveland Cavaliers, highlighted by the first-half play of new big man Marvin Bagley III, who is already making life easier for Cunningham and Killian Hayes.

Can the Detroit Pistons play spoiler to Boston once again? The books don’t think so.

Detroit Pistons vs. Boston Celtics: Odds, spread, over/under and best bets

According to WynnBET, the Pistons are whopping ten point underdogs at home vs. the Boston Celtics, a line that doesn’t make a ton of sense considering Detroit just beat them on the road a few days ago.

The money lines are set at +430 for Detroit and -600 for Boston, so the Pistons are heavy underdogs in this one, which may offer value for bettors.

The over/under is set at 214, which seems about right as it is the middle ground between what these two teams average combined and what they allow per game.

Detroit had a little more bounce in their step against Cleveland and I like them to cover this spread or win the game. If you think they can win outright, then take the money line and get the better odds.

I also like Cunningham and the Pistons to start rolling offensively, so I would take the over in this one, which is always a risky bet with Detroit, as you never know which team is going to show up from night to night.

Look for the Pistons to keep it close and for a similar score as the last game, where the two combined for 223 points.

Cunningham will continue to be your best bet in daily fantasy, as he always packs the scorecard even if his shot isn’t falling.

Grant has been up and down since returning from injury but has always played well against Boston. For a low-cost play, take Marvin Bagley III, who had his best game as a Piston against Cleveland and looks to be building something the with two young guards.

I like him and Kelly Olynyk to do some damage off the Pistons’ bench, which is quietly becoming a weapon.
