Detroit Pistons draft: Crazy possibilities for the top-5

Pick #4: Kings trade with the Pistons

The Kings have made it clear that they will trade this pick if it helps them get to the playoffs, and the Pistons have a guy who could help.

I can’t really see a deal like this happening (note the “crazy” in the title), as I don’t think Jerami Grant is enough for the 4th pick, even with another 1st-rounder attached. But that is the first year the Pistons will be eligible to trade a 1st-round pick until the one they owe OKC is conveyed, which will hopefully be soon, as it will mean the Pistons are in or near the playoffs.

But it is the Kangz we are talking about, so you can’t rule it out. This is a long shot for sure, but with the 4th pick and 5th picks the Detroit Pistons are set up to make another trade.
