The Spurs made the play-in last season, so are on the verge of being good and have some nice young talent to build around in Dejounte Murray and Joshua Primo.
They could use more depth at the forward position, as well as an injection of shooting, since the Spurs were just 19th in the NBA this season.
Griffin has become one of the more underrated talents in the draft, as he is much more explosive and well-rounded than people give him credit for. He can shoot the lights out from long range but he is also a pretty good playmaker and can beat guys off the dribble to get his own shot.
There are concerns about his injury history, otherwise he’d probably be going in the top-5 of the 2022 NBA Draft, as he has the shooting and length teams are looking for in a modern NBA wing.
