Many of the NBA trade rumors floating around before the deadline involve the Detroit Pistons, which makes sense given their position in the standings and the fact that they have some veterans who could be useful to the right teams.

Most of what we are hearing involves Bojan Bogdanovic but Alec Burks is also getting some attention, as he is currently shooting over 45 percent from 3-point range and has long been a reliable bench scorer.

The Detroit Pistons would probably laugh at a lot of these deals, as they are lopsided, and not for Detroit, as fans of other teams think they are going to get Bogdanovic for a late first-round pick or steal Burks away for practically nothing.

The Pistons’ biggest trade asset is likely Jaden Ivey, but there is no way they are dealing him at the deadline, so it’s either going to be Bogdanovic, Burks or perhaps one of the players from the back end of the rotation, which includes guys like Cory Joseph, Nerlens Noel and Hamidou Diallo.

Diallo has been playing much better of late and has had some success playing in small-ball lineups where he can use his athleticism in transition to try and run bigger defenders off the floor.

His recent surge has made him a possibility in a trade and one NBA insider cooked one up that would have the Detroit Pistons reuniting with an old fan favorite.
