The Detroit Pistons are scanning the market for roster upgrades this offseason, according to nearly every report that has revealed what Trajan Langdon has planned for the summer.

Detroit has their eyes on several expensive options like Trey Murphy III and Kyrie Irving, but they're also monitoring the market for cheaper options that could solve several of the issues that plagued them in the postseason.

Looking at the Oklahoma City Thunder, who are trending towards a roster shakeup of their own this offseason with tough financial decisions to make, several ideal targets could be a fit in the Motor City.

After the Thunder's move to move up to select Iowa standout Bennett Stirtz in the first round of the NBA Draft, the window to capitalize on OKC's tough decisions has officially opened.

Pistons have the perfect chance to land Isaiah Joe

According to NBA Insider Jake Fischer, Detroit has already expressed interest in Isaiah Joe this offseason.

Now, with OKC seemingly landing Joe's replacement, it feels like the writing is on the wall for Presti to find his reserve guard a new home in the near future.

For the Pistons, Joe is the exact type of bench boost they need, not just in the regular season, but one that could alleviate the offensive burden that finally brought Cade Cunningham down in the playoffs.

Joe put together a career-year this past season, averaging 11.1 points on 45.5% shooting from field goal range and 42.3% from three.

At 26, the guard offers an immediate scoring impact and fits the timeline of Detroit's current young core.

Although he wasn't exactly asked to be a playmaker in OKC, Joe wouldn't need to be one with the Pistons, especially with Ebuka Okorie now in the picture.

Of the options on the Thunder's roster, it feels like a move for maybe Ajay Mitchell would be the preference for Detroit, given his rookie-scale contract and production this season.

Still, landing Joe would offer the Pistons a much cheaper pivot than going all out in a pursuit of Tyler Herro from the Milwaukee Bucks.

Not to mention, landing Joe wouldn't cost much, which could allow the Pistons to save up their ammo to pursue the trade for their top trade target in Murphy III.

If the door is officially open for Detroit to snag Joe, they should waste no time trying to get a deal done before the other dominoes of the offseason start to fall.
