Cheer for: The Pistons to start cleaning house

I have no idea if anyone will be fired over this horrific season, but the Detroit Pistons have to do something. They have to hold someone in the front office accountable. There has to be a hard look at the coaching staff and they can't keep more than a few players from this roster.

I just don't see how anyone can bounce back from this season without big changes and fresh voices in the front office, huddle and on the bench. You can't normalize this much losing and say it's ok, as this is year four of a rebuild and they are worse. Someone has to be held responsible for this mess and if I were Tom Gores, I'd start preparing and making those changes now.

Cheer against: The James Wiseman mirage

After playing decently for a couple of weeks, Wiseman has devolved back to what he's been for most of the season: bad.

There is no reason to bring him back, as the Pistons need defensive improvement from the center position and can find veterans on minimum deals who can provide far more than Wiseman.

So we don't need Wiseman to go off in these last few games and give the Pistons any stupid ideas. He's one of several players including Evan Fournier, Malachi Flynn and Troy Brown Jr. who should not be back next season. Wiseman is a mirage and should be treated as such.
