Trade up, trade back, trade out: 3 Possible draft moves for the Pistons

Detroit Pistons out of the NBA Draft 

Teams to watch: Washington Wizards, New Orleans Pelicans, Atlanta Hawks, Cleveland Cavaliers 

The most likely scenario is the Detroit Pistons trading their pick in a package for a more proven player and there have been plenty of suggestions for how they could do it. 

The Wizards want another pick in the 1st round, would they send Kuzma to Detroit in a package for the 5th pick? 

Same question for New Orleans and Brandon Ingram, the Hawks and Dejounte Murray and the Cleveland Cavaliers and Darius Garland. 

The 5th pick alone isn’t going to get you any of these players, but coupled with a young player, would at least get the conversation started. 

One thing is clear, the Pistons can’t go into next season with 8+ players who are 23 or younger and expect a different result and the 5th pick may be their best route to meaningful change.
