  1. Willie Cauley-Stein (Unranked)

Cauley-Stein has been pretty solid in the minutes he has received in Sacramento, Averaging just shy of twenty two minutes per game. He has started in several games for the Kings and has managed to log more than thirty minutes twice. When he is on the court though, he has been quite productive. Averaging 7 points, 6 rebounds, a steal and a block on 71% shooting from the field. His ceiling is capped based on the minutes he receives and has already been in and out of the starting lineup, splitting time with Kosta Koufos.

We haven’t seen much from him offensively but that was always going to be the case particularly early on in the season. He was projected to be very raw offensively and his field goal percentage indicates the easy looks he has received rather than any sort of progress on that end of the court.

With the Kings sitting at 1-7 and an unlikely playoff run all but over at this early stage, it is likely Cauley-Stein will benefit from increased minutes as the season progresses. Based on his Per 36 numbers so far, any increased time on the court should relate to a move up the Rookie of the Year Rankings.
