  1. Emmanuel Mudiay (1)

As I predicted in my preseason rankings, Mudiay has been filling the stat sheet. Averaging 12 Points, 5 Assists, 4 Rebounds and a steal in 30 minutes per game. Another thing I touched on was his proneness to turnovers. After averaging nearly five per game during the preseason, Mudiay has not been able to improve on that number to start the season.

He is also shooting just 33% from the field and 65% from the line while his three point percentage has been an unexpected surprise at 37%.

Rookie point guards generally struggle in their first season with turnovers and this certainly comes to no surprise in Mudiay’s case. I believe the game will start slowing down for him after his first month or two in the league. He impressed recently against Damian Lillard and the Portland Trail Blazers finishing with 18 points, 5 assists and 6 rebounds, highlighted at the defensive end with two key blocks on Lillard late in a 108-104 victory.
