Thomas’ Outlook

Thomas’ outlook with the Pistons is bright. He is coming off of a rookie season in which he did not get to play much with the NBA team, however he shined with the G-League affiliate and showed promise during the Summer League this offseason.

He is not content with himself and is looking to build off of his rookie season experiences to become a better player that will get more minutes for the Pistons this upcoming season and it feels as if he will be rewarded.

More from PistonPowered

In his second season Thomas is unlikely to play major minutes for the team or to put up any eye-popping numbers due to the depth of the players ahead of him at the shooting guard position.  This is no knock on Thomas’ abilities and just conveys the depth that the Pistons have at the shooting guard spot, which is normally a weak position for teams across the league.
