3. Christmas floater against Lakers

With a nationally televised audience on the biggest holiday of the year, Rose gave Bulls fans a valiant Christmas present with the insanely difficult floater over the 7-foot-1 center Pau Gasol.  Down 87-86, Rose skied over Gasol followed by three Bulls defenders crowding Kobe Bryant on his last-second attempt.

2. 50 point Halloween night, game-winner and clutch block

Rose not only scored 50 points, but also hit the game-winning shot, late-game free throws and the game-saving block.  The perfect symbolization of what Rose was trying to get back to for years was emulated in his historic 50-point night on Halloween.  Rose knew he was getting the start for the short-handed Timberwolves with a shot at redemption against the Utah Jazz, who waived him after being traded from the Cleveland Cavaliers.  On top of that, coincidences were abundant as Rose turned the clock back on the Timberwolves throwback night in the classic jerseys on Halloween.

1. Buzzer-beating three to put Bulls up 2-1 on Cavaliers

Rose gave the Bulls the best chance that they ever had to get past a LeBron James-led team in the playoffs with a miraculous buzzer-beating three off the glass to put the Bulls up 2-1 over the Cleveland Cavaliers.  After all Rose had been through, this was a pure moment of joy for the hometown kid backed by the United Center crowd in what seemed like the start of a comeback.

“The thought process was man we overcame, you overcame,” Rose’s childhood friend Bryant Orange said.  “We overcame and it paid off.  It showed at that moment.  We just thought it was nothing but great from there.”

After hitting the difficult three over the outstretched arms of Tristan Thompson, Rose jumped into his teammates arms with a stone-cold face that became widely popular online.

Moments like this mark the best memories of Rose’s career thus far, while the former MVP continues to come through in the biggest moments.
