The Detroit Pistons are entering the home stretch of a rebuilding season but still have plenty to play for.

The final 20 games will not only be important for draft position but the Pistons are also waging many internal battles for minutes and future roster spots.

Saddiq Bey has put himself on the top of an elite list and will try to chase down the all-time NBA rookie record for made 3-pointers. Hopefully he can have a big night against the Trail Blazers, as Damian Lillard is one of the guys Bey is trying to move past on the all-time list.

The Detroit Pistons are clinging to the 3rd-worst record in the NBA with fellow tankers like the Orlando Magic right behind them.

Although the difference between the 3rd and 4th worst record is negligible, it would still lower the Pistons’ overall odds of staying in the top-four or landing the number one pick overall.

How many of these last 20 will the Detroit Pistons win? How many do they really want to win?

This will be just one of the things to watch as the Pistons take on the Trail Blazers in the Moda Center.

Detroit Pistons: Is Killian Hayes fully healthy?

Killian Hayes has given Pistons’ fans hope for the future by playing well in three games since returning from injury.

He also gave fans reason to have a heart attack when he tweaked his hip in the last game, came up limping and had to go back to the locker room.

Dwane Casey said Hayes was fine at practice the next day.

But this is a song I’ve heard from the Detroit Pistons’ training staff before, so I hope the Pistons are very careful with Hayes over these last 20 games.

As eager as we all are to see him play, the Pistons need to ensure that he heads into the offseason at 100 percent.
