Detroit Pistons: Will Isaiah earn the starting spot for the rest of the season?

Isaiah Stewart was put into the starting lineup when Mason Plumlee had to sit out for concussion protocol and he made the most of it.

Beef Stew had the best game of his career against the Sacramento Kings, notching 16 points, 13 rebounds, four assists, a block and a steal.

Stewart has been compared to everyone from Ben Wallace to Bam Adebayo, which makes sense, as he has shown himself to be a high-motor and versatile defender who can guard just about every spot.

He has also shown the ability to knock down jumpers and set up teammates, so we are going to have to re-calculate the ceiling for what this guy can be.

If Beef Stew continues to play well as as starter with Plumlee out, we may see him seize that role for the rest of the season as he was already getting increased minutes off the bench.

I would like to see more of Stewart and Bey together, so it would be great if Stewart earned the starting role as Bey did early in the season so that they can continue to build chemistry for the future.
