Detroit Pistons: Cade Cunningham’s position has strengthened

Cade Cunningham has helped his case during the pre-draft process with impressive interviews and by showing a real understanding of the game and how he fits into it.

Cunningham has talked about his strengths and weaknesses and been articulate and insightful in interviews. He has impressed the Pistons at every turn and has bolstered himself as a prospect even more.

Here is what Jonathan Givony from ESPN had to say:

"“Cunningham’s standing in Detroit has strengthened throughout the pre-draft process to the point that it would be extremely surprising if the Pistons did anything but pick him No. 1. Despite the front office’s apparent suggestions otherwise, sources say a commitment to Cunningham could be imminent. ”"

Scout Mike Schmitz loves Jalen Green and Evan Mobley but thinks Cunningham is too good to pass up. So does Adrian Wojnarowski.
