Detroit Pistons: Cade Cunningham will have some big nights

Yes, Cade Cunningham will struggle at times as a rookie point guard, but he is also going to blow up and have some huge nights.

I think Cade will have a few 40+ point games as a rookie and it won’t be long until he challenges the Pistons all time scoring record.

Cunningham has already shown that he can get hot from 3-point range, and he has the size to shoot over just about anyone in the league, so I expect there will be some nights when he drops 8-10 from long range.

He might back that up with a game where he struggles, but there will be enough of these monster games sprinkled through the season to keep his scoring average high and to make him the frontrunner for Rookie of the Year.

You can’t expect consistency from a rookie, so we will see some up and down performances from Cade Cunningham early on, but you can expect to be dazzled at times and for him to put up some monster numbers even early in the season.
