Detroit Pistons: Trade of Bojan Bogdanovic to the Miami Heat

Bleacher Report put together a trade deadline cheat sheet that included relevant information about every team, as well as a trade proposal.

Surprisingly, the Pistons were only mentioned in connection to one team, the Miami Heat, a team that I have written off as a possibility due to their lack of desirable trade assets.

B/R sweetened the pot from the trade I came up with, and made it slightly more palatable to the Detroit Pistons, though I am not sure either team would accept this deal:

In this trade, Miami gets some reinforcements in the form of a 21 point per game scorer and one of the most consistent 3-point shooters in the league, while the Pistons get a promising young player, a lightly protected first-round pick and the corpse of Duncan Robinson.

Robinson’s contact would be the sticking point for the Pistons, as he is still guaranteed $64 million over the next 3+ seasons. But for the sake of argument, let’s look at the pros and cons of this particular trade, as I do think it would be one that would at least make Detroit pause.
